An Andriel build should make the fellowship recoverable. Start with the skills and resources that let her heal or control pressure consistently, meet the requirements of genuinely useful equipment, and add damage only when the support loop already survives a full encounter. This is a role-first plan rather than a fixed level-by-level calculator because Legacy Edition loot changes the most efficient attribute threshold.
Foundation
One dependable healing response, one area answer, and enough survivability to remain standing when allies need help.
Attribute gate
Meet the requirement of a chosen armor or weapon, then stop chasing inventory pieces that may be replaced.
Resource test
Complete an ordinary two-wave fight and confirm the kit still has an emergency action available.
Party adjustment
Solo favors broad recovery; coordinated co-op can specialize after the group assigns protection and target control.
Define the failure this build must prevent
Review the last difficult encounter. If two heroes fall before healing can begin, Andriel needs safer positioning, earlier activation, or enough durability to complete the response. If everyone survives but a ranged target prolongs the fight, add a reliable offensive or control option. If resource empties after the first wave, improve efficiency before purchasing another expensive active skill.
Write the build purpose in one sentence: “keep the fellowship stable through crowded waves while preserving a boss-phase heal” is actionable. “Maximum magic” is not. The sentence decides which live tooltip deserves the next point.
Do not evaluate Andriel alone in a harmless room. Her value appears while Farin is holding several enemies, Eradan is solving distance, and a revive might be needed. Test changes in a repeatable encounter with the whole fellowship equipped.
Buy a small, connected skill package
Inspect the current skill tree for healing, area pressure, interruption, and any passive that improves their practical uptime. Exact ranks and prerequisites are visible in the live AppID 2523770 build and should control the order. First secure one action that changes a health emergency; then add an area tool that stops several enemies from creating the emergency again.
Avoid buying several active abilities that compete for the same resource and combat moment. One skill should answer a clustered approach, another a damaged fellowship, and a simple weapon response should handle ordinary targets. Rank the ability used in every hard fight before adding a fourth button used only in theory.
Test startup, targeting, radius, duration, resource cost, and recovery. If a cast repeatedly misses because enemies have already moved, change placement or select a tool suited to a moving line.
Spend attributes around owned equipment
At each hub, identify the best item Andriel owns but cannot equip. Count the exact requirement gap and compare its benefit with the next support improvement. Meet a threshold when the item clearly solves survival or uptime; otherwise keep points aligned with the established role.
Do not spread attributes merely to make every drop wearable. A focused Andriel with one dependable set is stronger than a character who meets several obsolete thresholds and lacks the resource or protection to complete a heal. Preserve a few unspent decisions only when the game permits; never assume a later respec without verifying the current menu.
Armor bonuses that keep the support hero active can beat a modest damage increase. Weapon value includes safe application and compatibility with the chosen spacing, not only the largest displayed number.
Fit elf-stones and armor to support uptime
Use elf-stones after choosing a piece likely to remain. Read the exact socket result before confirming. Improve the limit actually seen in combat: survival during casting, resource availability, or damage when the party is already safe. Filling every socket with unrelated bonuses weakens the build’s purpose.
Keep yellow named armor even when an individual part is not equipped. Well-arrayed requires the same named family across head, shoulders, body, gloves, leggings, and boots on one hero. Store the pieces together and compare only after the full family is visible.
At merchants, inspect Andriel gear after checking the fellowship’s urgent gaps. Support does not mean taking every item first, but leaving Andriel in obsolete armor can make every later revive harder.
Fold Herb-master progress into the Normal run
Current completion routing uses Andriel to collect blue herbs and craft fifteen potions for Herb-master. Pick plants during quiet exploration, craft through the normal system, and verify the Gameplay Stats or achievement state. Do not consume a named quest ingredient required for Miruvor merely to advance a potion count.
Rivendell’s Miruvor request uses five Miriloth, two Gilivor, and honey in the current route. Finish the dialogue normally and keep the inventory readable. Campaign objectives and build supplies share space, so a quick hub check prevents accidental sale or use.
Potion crafting supports the build when it adds recovery between major skill uses. It should not become an excuse to stand in avoidable damage.
Tune for solo or co-op ownership
In solo, Andriel needs a broad package because the AI may not protect her ideal casting line. Favor dependable healing, control that works without perfect communication, and enough armor to survive a misplaced companion. Practice hot-swapping to her, reading the entire field, and acting only after locating both allies.
In coordinated co-op, the Farin player can hold a doorway and the Eradan player can remove ledges, allowing more precise area placement. Announce cooldown or resource shortages and agree who covers a revive. Do not assume an effect reached a player who moved outside its area.
Return to the Andriel hero guide for moment-to-moment positioning, or compare the Farin build when later difficulty demands a durable lead.
